UPDATE: This morning (Friday, July 31), North Yorkshire Police reported that the missing 15-year-old girl from York has been found.

POLICE are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl from York.

The teenager was last seen at home in Acomb at around 3pm on Wednesday (July 29).

North Yorkshire Police said they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is described as white, around 6 foot tall, of slim build with shoulder-length, straight brown hair.

She may be wearing a black top with white logo on the front and black trousers and may be carrying a satchel-style shoulder bag and a black walking stick or cane with stickers on it.
