One of North Yorkshire’s most picturesque seasonal attractions is preparing to welcome visitors once again this summer. The Flower Belt reopens for its annual wildflower picking season.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the North York Moors National Park, The Flower Belt reopens on Saturday, July 18, for its annual wildflower picking season.

Opening on Saturday 18th July, visitors will be invited to wander through colourful wildflower fields, handpick their own bouquets and enjoy a relaxed countryside experience just outside Helmsley.

The attraction, outside Helmsley, is owned and run by the Wainwright family, and continues to evolve each year, with ongoing improvements across the site designed to enhance the visitor experience.

Alongside the flower fields, guests can also enjoy refreshments from The Honey Tap, serving barista coffee, artisan drinks, handmade bakes and freshly prepared food throughout the season.

This year, the popular pizza oven and bar will be open every day throughout the wildflower season, offering freshly made pizzas, drinks and outdoor seating with panoramic countryside views.

Visitors can also look forward to a packed programme of summer events, with live music taking place every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the season.

The Flower Belt will also host a series of wellness experiences amongst the wildflowers, including yoga sessions and sound baths designed to help guests unwind and reconnect with nature in a truly unique setting.

Henry Wainwright said: “We’re incredibly excited to welcome people back for another wildflower season.

“Every year The Flower Belt grows a little more, and it’s amazing to see how many people have made visiting part of their summer traditions. Seeing families, friends and visitors enjoying the flowers and spending time outdoors is what it’s all about.”

The Flower Belt, now in its 5th year, is a seasonal pick-your-own flower and pumpkin farm.

The attraction offers seasonal flower picking experiences throughout the year, including tulips in spring, wildflowers and sunflowers in summer, and pumpkins in autumn.
