A hay producer in Selby is helping to open doors for the next generation of agricultural talent.
Newhay Feeds, founded by first-generation farmer Ian Burrows, has teamed up with the Yorkshire & Humber Institute of Technology (YHIoT) to create career pathways for young people.

Mr Burrows said: "I was given a chance, and so giving some chances back to young people is something I'm very passionate about – which is where the initial interest in the IoT came from."
The business, which grows and supplies premium Timothy hay to pet food manufacturers and retailers across the UK, Europe, Australia and South Africa, has already welcomed students into the firm.
Final-year degree students from Askham Bryan College recently visited to support their dissertations on agricultural diversification and commercial growth.

Newhay Feeds plans to offer further student placements and job opportunities through the YHIoT network.
Hannah Wilson, head of operations at the YHIoT, said: "Newhay Feeds is a fantastic example of how employer partnerships can make a real difference to young people in our region, at a time when we need it most.
"That is exactly the kind of collaboration the IoT was created to support."
