A singer and comedian is bringing his signature blend of music, comedy, and nostalgia to Scarborough.

Liverpool entertainer Tim Lucas will return to Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre on June 4 with We’re Havin’ a Party.

Mr Lucas blends singing, stand-up and stories, promising a feel-good evening packed with nostalgia, Motown, soul, swing and rock and roll.

Songs including My Girl and Red Light Spells Danger will feature throughout the show, encouraging the audience to join in and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere.

Mr Lucas said: "I’ve always loved entertaining people – making them laugh, sing along and forget about everything for a couple of hours.

"This show is me putting everything I love into one place, and I can’t wait to share it with Scarborough."

Known for his natural Scouse humour and relaxed style, the performer combines comedy and music in a way that feels fresh and spontaneous.

The show follows his appearance in Love’s Labour’s Lost, more or less.

He will be accompanied on stage by just a piano, offering what promoters describe as his "most authentic" performance.

We’re Havin’ a Party will be performed at the Stephen Joseph Theatre on Thursday, June 4, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the box office on 01723 370541 or at www.sjt.uk.com.
