A care home in Norton is inviting the public to a free diabetes talk this month.

Rivermead Care Home will host the event on Wednesday, May 20, at 2pm, with all members of the community welcome to attend.

The talk will be delivered by representatives from Diabetes UK, who will cover key topics such as managing diabetes, making healthy lifestyle choices, and supporting individuals living with the condition.

Chloe Baron, general manager at Rivermead Care Home, said: "We want to help and support those living with diabetes, along with their relatives, friends, and members of our local community.

"We are inviting everyone to come along and listen to our free talk to raise awareness of the condition, help give people some information, and ways to manage it."

Rivermead Care Home is operated by Barchester Healthcare and offers dementia care, nursing care, and respite care.

Anyone wishing to attend the talk is asked to RSVP by emailing rivermead@barchester.com.
