A Pilates instructor is supporting a farm shop’s latest fundraiser in Pickering.

Wendy Harding, who teaches Pilates in Pickering and Thornton Le Dale, will lead a Pop-up Pilates session at Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café.

The event will take place on May 10, from 9am to 10am, and will raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Mrs Harding said: "The weather is warming up, so it’s the perfect time to do a mid-summer outdoor Pilates session and raise valuable funds for people living with cancer."

Karl Avison, co-owner of Cedarbarn, said the charity has personal meaning for the team, adding: "Macmillan is a charity that is close to the hearts of a number of our team.

"We are indebted to Wendy for making this charity session possible, and we are looking forward to hosting the session."

A donation of £10 is suggested, and attendees are asked to register by emailing wendykharding@gmail.com.
