A Parkinson’s support group is inviting the community to join them for coffee and conversation.
The Ryedale Parkinsons Support Group will host its annual World Parkinson’s Day coffee morning at Acklam Village Hall at 10am on Saturday, April 11.
The event will include tea, coffee, cakes, and a raffle.
Supporters who cannot attend can still buy a raffle ticket by donating through a QR code, with donations put toward ticket purchases.
The group recently held a Parkinson’s Information Day, and the group thanked all who attended and contributed, especially the volunteers.
A spokesman for the group said: "Your kindness and involvement make our group what it is — a place of friendship, support, and understanding.
"We look forward to seeing you at future events and hope you’ll invite others along."
The Ryedale Parkinsons Support Group meets monthly on the second Thursday from 2pm to 4pm at Trinity Methodist Church in Norton.
