Fox Hill Holiday Park, near Claxton, between York and Malton, was granted planning permission for five static caravans, seven holiday lodges and six glamping pods in 2022.
The site has now applied for planning permission to install 15 more static caravans on the space previously allocated for the new lodges and pods.
The new application has been submitted to North Yorkshire Council following the purchase of the site by Larkham Leisure.
Supporting documents submitted from Edwardson Associates state: “Our client has recently acquired the site.
“He operates many well-run and successful holiday parks throughout Yorkshire.
“He prides himself in employing local people and sourcing local trades and supplies.”
They add “This application is for the siting of 15 static caravan pitches in the southern part of the park.
“Each static caravan pitch would be served by one car parking space. The proposals equate to a net increase of only two static caravan pitches.”
The report adds: “The proposals are considered to accord with national and local planning policies, are considered to be sustainable, and can be accommodated without causing harm to landscape character, visual amenity or highway safety.”
Last year, the park was granted planning permission to change 20 seasonal touring caravans to 20 static caravans.
