Kevin Hollinrake, MP for Thirsk and Malton, will host an Apprenticeship Fair this Thursday (February 13).

The event will take place at the Milton Rooms in Malton from 5pm to 7pm.

Unlike last year's engineering-focused event, this fair will showcase a variety of industries, including catering, tourism, and environmental services.

The event is open to all ages, welcoming students, teachers, parents, and anyone interested in exploring apprenticeships.

Confirmed attendees include McCain, Severfield, Network Rail, Job Centre Plus, Castle Howard, Marshall ADG, Derwent Training Association, Fera Science, and North Yorkshire County Council.

Mr Hollinrake said: "Apprenticeships are an invaluable route to gaining skills and building careers.

"I am thrilled to expand this year’s fair to cover even more industries and invite everyone to come along and explore the exciting opportunities on offer."
