A WANTED man has been arrested following a police chase in York.
North Yorkshire Police say the York city centre neighbourhood policing team made an arrest on Monday (September 9).
A police spokesperson said: “We would like to say a big thank you to members of the public who assisted PC 1016 in his pursuit of a wanted man.
“Thanks to their assistance in a car and by lending a bicycle, a man wanted for house burglary is currently in custody.”
