POLICE are increasing patrols in a village car park after numerous reports of anti-social driving.
A spokesperson for Ryedale Police said: "We have received multiple reports of anti-social driving, including excessively revving engines and people doing “doughnuts” in Thornton-le-Dale car park.
" Those caught driving in such an anti-social manner risk seizure of their vehicles under Police Reform Act s.59.
"As we seek to increase patrols to the area, we encourage residents and passers-by to continue to report this unacceptable and inconsiderate anti-social behaviour.
" Not only is it dangerous, it has a notably negative impact on the quality of life for our local community."
