Children at Kirkbymoorside Primary School had an exciting visit from England Women's Rugby Union player Tatyana Heard recently.
In the run up to the Six Nations, Tatyana came into school to talk to the children about her experiences and achievements playing for England.
Anna Aspery, PE Lead at Kirkbymoorside Primary School, said: "Tatyana grew up in Kirkbymoorside and attended the Primary School so it was brilliant to hear her memories of playing sports on the same field as our children do today.
"The children were amazed to see how many medals Tatyana had won and even got to see her 2023 Six Nations Player of the Match trophy. Many children watched Tatyana in action playing in the Six Nations and we were all thrilled that England won the Grand Slam."
