KIND-hearted owners of a Norton pub have installed a bench outside their premises to help passengers waiting for the bus.
Simon and Charlie took over the Derwent Arms in Church Street last month.
Posting on Facebook they said: "Since moving in we’ve noticed the bus stop is used by a lot of the elderly propping themselves up against the walls and perching where they can whilst they wait for the bus, so we’ve donated a solution to the people of Norton.
"Please take a seat & rest your feet in comfort on the Derwent Bus Stop Bench, supplied by us for everyone. A massive thanks to Norton Hardware for sourcing and ordering a solution for us within three days of our idea
"We hope you all make use of it and it encourages other local people and businesses to invest into Norton."
