Malton crew called to chimney fire
Crews from Malton attended a report of a chimney fire at a residential property in the town yesterday (Sunday) at 10.16am.
The fire was extinguished by the occupier prior to the arrival of the fire service, crews went on to check for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera and assessed the condition of the chimney pot. Following a full inspection crews went on to give advice to the occupants of the property.
