FS Keith Burt, Station Community Support Officer and Deputy OIC Greenfield House, RAFA members, Paul Carruthers, Allan Jones, Carol Sollitt, Lesley Fawcett and Flt Lt Stephen Michell, Officer in Charge, Greenfield House.
Members of the RAF Association (Ryedale Branch) paid a visit to the RAF Fylingdales Contact House in Whitby to deliver equipment they have donated.
The group were met by Wing Commander Thomas Colledge and other personnel from the station for a tour of the house.
Following the presentation of games, jigsaws and kitchen equipment , the group retired to the Community Centre for refreshments.
Contact Houses are an important facility for serving personnel and their families. As well as providing accommodation for visiting family members, the house can also be used for welfare breaks or a short stay until quarters are ready for occupation.
