Malton fire crews have a busy Christmas Day evening
FIRE crews from Malton had a busy Christmas Day evening.
At 9.12 pm a crew responded to reports of a fire in the front garden of a property in West Heslerton. This was a false alarm with the fire confined to a fire pit and under supervision.
At 10.51pm a crew assisted with an elderly female who had fallen and was unable to get back up at a house in Welburn. Crew power only was used to lift female to bed. The crew then left her in the care of her daughter.
At 12.45am a crew was called to reports of a fire in a garden of a property. On arrival crew located a fire that was out of control. Crew used one hose reel jet to extinguish.
