An usual Christmas tree has been created by members of a craft group.
The Pins and Needles craft group, meets at Malton library every Tuesday at 4pm.
Members have made a 'granny square' Christmas Tree, which is now on display in the library.
A spokesperson for the Pins and Needles craft group, said: "It was made by nine members of our group, each crocheting individual granny squares and then we sewed them together. The frame was made by two of our partners/husbands and it has taken us from August to November to complete."
