THE cold and wintry weather at the weekend inspired out readers to take these amazing photographs.

Snow following by freezing conditions and fog which created the perfect backdrop for a seasonal picture.

Andy Robinson, from Crambe, said: "I thought the photos might be of interest to you for inclusion in The Gazette. The pictures were taken on Saturday morning and are in the lanes close to Crambe, and in my garden."

Terry Coatsworth took a photo from the top of North Grimston looking across to Malton and Norton on December 1.

Nick Fletcher took a number of photos of the snow, including a couple walking with a wintery wonderland.

George Tremain, from Pickering also got some photos with a wintery feel.

He said: "They were taken in Pickering over the weekend and show the icy conditions which then resulted in snow.

"Two were taken on consecutive days from the same position to demonstrate the change in scenery.

"Then we have a roe deer foraging for food with the frosty trees behind and finally a Robin finding shelter on a snowy branch. Hope you like them."
