Detached garage deliberately set on fire in Pickering
A garage at residential premises in Pickering was deliberately set on fire this afternoon (Friday).
Crews from Pickering responded to reports of a detached garage on fire at the property at 12.47pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "The fire had been extinguished by a member of the public prior to our arrival. Crews carried out an inspection using a thermal imaging camera and the cause was deliberate."
