Drivers in and around Ryedale will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list is as follows:

• A64, from 8pm November 22 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Musley bank to Pickering, slip road closures and Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion in place Via national highways and local authority network.

• A64, from 8pm November 23 to 6am November 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Pickering to Brambling fields, slip road closures and Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion in place via National highways and local authority network.

• A64, from 9pm November 24 to 5am November 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Flaxton, traffic signals for general cleaning and maintenance.

• A64, from 9pm November 28 to 5am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Sherburn, traffic signals for carriageway repairs.

• A64, from 8pm December 1 to 6am December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Musley bank to Brambling fields, Lane closures for survey works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
