A FORMER football club has donated its funds to a mental health charity.
Wills Bar Football Club, which has now folded, decided to give its remaining money from fundraisers last year to Mind.
Club member Luke Scott, said: "Although the club have now folded, we have decided that with our remaining funds from our fundraisers last year, to donate the £150.01 to mental health charity Mind.
"Mental health is massively important to us, especially as a number of our players have struggled both now, and in the past with mental health. Male suicide is still one of the biggest killers in young males and we want to help in any way that we can.
"We hope that this can be a reminder and a message to anyone reading, to remind you that you’re never alone, to communicate with the ones closest to you and understand that the world’s a better place with you in it."
