A TEENAGER has admitted vandalising a number of areas in Pickering with graffiti.
Last June, graffiti appeared at several locations close to the Beck Isle Museum on Bridge Street, Pickering.
Police shared images of the graffiti on social media, with an appeal for information.
PC Louise Neville-Beck said: "As a result, information received from the public allowed us to narrow down the route taken by suspects, and secure crucial CCTV video footage.
"A teenage boy was interviewed, and admitted causing the damage. He was referred to a Youth Outcome Panel, and given an out-of-court disposal to address his behaviour.
"I'm really grateful to people in Pickering who provided us with information. Thanks to your support, we were able to identify and deal with the young person responsible. Your calls really do make a difference."
