The Sheriff Hutton Jumblies are set to host an exciting concert featuring a range of summer music to raise funds for the longstanding fundraisers.

The Chanticleer Singers concert, led by new Musical Director William Dore, will take place at the village hall on Friday June 30.

The programme for the night will feature a range of music, from Byrd and Weelkes to Burt Bacharach, offering a celebration of summer music throughout the ages.

The event is set to support the Jumblies who have a history of fundraising for various local charities and worthy causes.

Anna Fitsgerald, a member of the choir and supporter of the Jumblies, praised their dedication and hard work and expressed how great it was to offer something back through the special concert where all proceeds go to Jumblies funds.

She said: "The Jumblies work so hard to put on their monthly sales that it's great to offer something in return with a special concert where all the proceeds go to Jumblies funds"

The concert begins at 7:30 pm, with tickets available at the door, and children and students welcomed for free.

The Chanticleer Singers will also perform the same programme at St Marks church, Newby, Scarborough on Saturday afternoon for those interested in a trip to the coast.
