A popular East Yorkshire agricultural show is to return for 2023, bringing with it a wide offering for attendees.

The Driffield Show will take place on July 19 in the Driffield Showground.

This year the KCOM sponsored activity arena will feature a range of performers alongside the show’s traditional offerings.

Taking to the stage will be ‘Dangerous Steve’ who is to perform fire and chainsaw juggling; ride a giant unicycle, perform ladder balancing tricks; and ride a motorcycle blindfolded.

Organisers have said that Steve will bring with him a wealth of experience, having started his motorbike stunt show when he was just six-years-old.

Starring alongside Steve are crowd favourites Phil and Tracy Gibbons of Ridegeside and their ‘Little Nippers Racing’.

Neil Bartholomew, KCOM retail managing director, said “We’re delighted to be back at the Driffield Show for a second year running.

“It’s a fantastic event that brings the whole community together and the KCOM Arena is set to host some more brilliant entertainment.

“We’ve been made incredibly welcome in Driffield since we brought our full fibre network to the town three years ago and it’s a pleasure to be at the heart of the town’s showpiece event once again.”

Tickets for the show are priced at £16 for adults and £5 for under 16s.
