A SALON in Ryedale has moved to a new premises – inside an old Post Office.

Love My Hair first opened in Kirkbymoorside in 2016 in West End, but has now found a new home in Market Place.

The new space was once the town’s Post Office, but has given a complete revamp to turn it into a fully functional salon.

Love My Hair’s owner, Kirsty Lawrence, said she first opened the store to “offer a one shop salon for all hair and beauty needs - to be pampered from head to toe”.

“I have always strived to grow my amazing little business,” she added.

Along the way, Kirsty said she has built a strong team consisting of Katie Pool, Emma Rivis, Molly Garden, and Gemma Montgomery.

She decided to move to the old Post Office to allow more space for the salon’s work.

Under the guidance of architect Patrick Cuddy her dream was made a reality.

“It has been amazing renovating such a fabulous building with so much history and story’s to be told by all the local people,” she said.
