Now in its 12th year, the Helmsley 10 kilometre run returns to the town on Sunday, April 9.

This year the event has been sponsored by Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors LLP.

The multi-terrain race will take runners on roads, forestry tracks, footpaths, and fields.

It will raise funds for Helmsley Sports Club, which supports the local community with a range of sports and activities.

The minimum age for the adult race is 15.

On the day, participants will meet at the sports ground in Baxtons Lane, Helmsley, YO62 5HT.
