PUPILS and staff at a village school have celebrated Founder;s Day for the Scout & Guides Associations.
Everyone at Gillamoor Primary School was invited to wear Scout or Guide uniform for the day.
Scouts Founder’s Day on February 22 honors Lord Baden-Powell and his wife, Olave, the first Chief Girl Guide.
Gillamoor Primary School headteacher Andrea Hayes, said: "To commemorate this, children we encouraged to come into school in their uniforms. I was also in uniform as I have who been involved in guiding since I was a Brownie many years ago."
