Rivermead care home in Norton was filled with flowers, cards and sweet treats in celebration of St Valentine’s Day.

Staff, residents and visitors celebrated the day of love by creating heart-shaped decorations to decorate the home and made special trips out to buy flowers and gifts for our resident’s families.

General Manager, Sarah Jackson, said: “Lots of our residents were able to see their loved ones either in person or via video call. We had a whole range of treats and Valentine’s themed fun”.

"Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities."

Christine, a resident at Rivermead said: “It has been a lovely day, my husband made the day special with a surprise gift of lovely flowers and a card! Thank you Michael”.
