FIRE CREWS were on the scene this morning (December 30) after a light sparked a bin fire in Scarborough.
Firefighters responded to the reports at 11.53am outside the leisure centre on Foreshore Road.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This was extinguished using buckets of water.
“The cause is believed to be accidental from a dropped light.”
