A CHARITY in Ryedale is looking for a new honorary Treasurer.
The position is on offer at Ryedale and District Mencap and involves monitoring the financial administration of the charity and reporting to the trustees at regular intervals.
Ryedale and District Mencap provides help, support, activities and advice for people with learning difficulties, their families and carers in the local area.
At present the charity's Ryedale branch has one part-time employee and hold committee meetings approximately every two months.
The branch is about to launch a new website where many of its activities can be paid for, and thus reduce the workload of the treasurer.
