A NEW music festival is set to come to Ryedale.

Manor Farm Festival will bring a mix of pop, reggae, Latin-American, rock and soul when it comes to the Manor Farm, West Lutton, on August 27 from 2pm to 7pm.

Headliners of the festival are Flat Cap Carnival, who recently played at the Meadowfest music festival in Malton.

There will also be local support acts including including Beat and The Bear, Amy-Jayne Milton, Simeon Haslam, That Clinton Band, Rich Hardcastle, and even a live ceilidh.

Along side this will be workshops including African drumming.

The festival is now close to selling out its full capacity of 400 people.

In addition to the wide variety of musical talent, there will also be a range of food and drink on offer.

Several street food vendors will be at the festival, including Roberts & Sons Pigs and Pizzas, Malton, who will provide a hog roast, and STRETCH, based in Hull, who will offer wood fired pizzas with vegan and vegetarian options available.

The Cocktail Cart Company will provide cocktails and other drinks including mocktails.

Happy Sweets UK are set to provide bundles of sweets and further food offerings will come from Rhubarbar and Love the Pud.

Local crafters will also be at the festival selling items such as artwork and jewellery.

Early Bird tickets are priced at £8 plus a booking fee.

Children tickets (ages six to 16) are priced at £4 plus fee.

Family ticket (two adults and two children) are priced at £16 plus fee and under fives go free.

Tickets will be available on the day and are priced at £10, although prebooking is recommended.

Limited parking will be available on site and dogs are welcome at the festival on leads.
