FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the open last night (August 4) in a Ryedale village.
Crews from Malton were called to the blaze in Langton at 10.46pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire.
"The cause was deliberate."
