EMERGENCY services were on the scene at a fire left unattended in a field in Cropton last night (August 2).
Crews from Krikbymoorside were on the scene at 7.08pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used buckets of water and a knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire.
“The cause was deliberate.”
