A Ryedale Scouts group is hosting a fun event this summer.
1st Helmsley Scout Group will be holding a Flower Pot Trail from July 22 to August 26 this year.
The public can design and decorate a plant pot, which will be left around the local area for others to see.
A spokesperson for the Scouts said: “It could be anything that celebrates the history of our town, famous celebrities, animal characters – basically anything that brightens up the village/town and puts a smile on people’s faces as they walk round.”
The group would like residents and businesses to join the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to come up with interesting ideas for their creations.
They added: “Share the location of your creation in the form, which can be found on our website, and we’ll add it to our map for all to find.”
