Performers and musicians from around Yorkshire will take to the stage on 16th-17th July at NY500, Pickering

From the creators of The North Leeds Food Festival, an award-winning family foodie event that has recently celebrated it’s 6th year in Roundhay Park, comes The North Yorkshire Food and Drink Festival, set to take place at Pickering’s own NY500 on 16th-17th July, 2022. A unique event space with rolling fields, featuring its own permanent car and motorsport-themed attractions, festival organisers promise a summer weekend of international cuisine, independent drink and live music.

The jam-packed entertainment lineup boasts singers and musicians from across Yorkshire, showcasing a variety of musical styles and genres including pop, soul, jazz and dance.

Artists include Will Forrester, a jazz and classical saxophonist with over 20 years’ experience, and The Groove Merchants, a 6-piece band from Leeds, playing soul and Motown classics all the way through to today's chart toppers, guaranteed to get audiences on their feet. Also attending will be an acoustic singing harmony group Leaving Overmorrow, playing music from the 60s to present.

Thousands of food lovers are expected to attend the family foodie festival at NY500, with an Artisan Market of over 60 independent food, drink and crafts traders, Entertainers & Street Performers, Kids Activities, Traditional Fair Rides, Animal Attractions, and a variety of live jazz, pop and acoustic Music from Yorkshire artists.

The festival will run additional activities throughout the weekend to raise funds and awareness for mental health charity Mind, having raised over £52,000 over the past six years for local mental health charities.
