Emergency services called to woman on bridge over A64
Emergency services were called to a woman standing on the wrong side of the railings on a bridge over the A64 on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "The Force Control Room received multiple concern for safety calls at around 9am on Monday after a woman was seen standing on the wrong side of the railings on bridge over the A64 on Middlecave Road, Malton.
"Police, fire and ambulance attended and the A64 was temporarily closed in both directions while the woman was brought to safety at 9.20am. She is receiving the care and support."
