NEW attractions have been unveiled at a popular waterpark.

The ‘Warrior’ assault course and ‘Splash Kingdom’, castle attraction, have arrived in time for the summer and add to the offering at North Yorkshire Water Park, at Wykeham Lakes, near Scarborough.

On the Warrior, visitors are faced with talking climbing walls, slides, trampolines, balance balls, swings and jumps in order to complete the course.

It is set to provide fun for family days out, hen and stag parties, along with corporate team buildings.

The new castle themed children’s attraction, ‘Splash Kingdom’, has been unveiled for those aged 3-7.

It boasts a safe, enclosed space where parents can join their children for fun on the water.

Gareth Davis, operations manager at North Yorkshire Water Park, said: “The AquaPark course is our most popular activity every year – nothing says summer quite like an inflatable assault course.

"It’s guaranteed fun and brings out a bit of a healthy competition in everyone!

“We’re thrilled to be opening our Warrior course this summer.”

The Warrior can be booked for an hour’s session at £18 per person, and Splash Kingdom is available for a charge of £12 for an hour.
