Three local members of Soroptimist International (SI) of Scarborough Club presented a cheque for £100 to Sue Fitter of the Ryedale Community Foodbank recently.
Ryedale Community Foodbank has received a financial boost from a local club.
Three local members of Soroptimist International (SI) of Scarborough Club presented a cheque for £100 to Sue Fitter of the Ryedale Community Foodbank recently.
The donation was as part of SI Scarborough's Programme Action.
The club is also supporting the Scarborough Westway Open Arms Foodbank.
A spokesperson said: "The Scarborough Soroptimists will be collecting tinned foodstuffs at their monthly meeting to continue their support for these foodbanks."
Soroptimist International is an organisation for women who work to transform the lives of women and girls worldwide.
