The range of job roles also cover full time, part time and suitable family friendly working hours. Citizens interested in apprenticeship opportunities can also find out what’s on offer for them.

Phillip Spurr, Programme Director of Place and Resources for Ryedale District Council, said:

“Ryedale is a great place to live, work and visit. It’s our vision that Ryedale has a strong economy, with world-class assets and new jobs linked to growth including engineering, manufacturing, bio-renewables, food, farming, and visitor economy and carbon reduction technologies. The job fair we’re holding is a step in the right direction towards that vision. It’s also a great opportunity for anyone in the district looking for work, or to change jobs to come and find out what’s on offer and to chat to the employers recruiting.”

Also in attendance will be North Yorkshire County Council’s Adult Learning and Skills, Access to Work and a Department of Work and Pensions, Disability Employment Advisor.
