TV crews are searching for homes full of history in York ahead of a new series.

Salvage Hunters - the most watched Quest TV and Discovery Network show - is on the hunt for historical locations across Yorkshire to film and feature in the 16th series.

Viewers follow decorative antiques expert Drew Pritchard on his quest to find and buy unusual objects with an interesting history.

Drew has visited beautiful estates, old family businesses, barns, attics, museums and factories - even collectors and iconic religious sites.

His mission is to buy anything from country house furniture and music memorabilia to giant glass laboratory domes and other unique, one-off items.

Producers said: "Now into its sixteenth series and airing to over half a million people in the UK and millions more worldwide, this is a great opportunity for you to promote your business or home to a broad audience, part ways with a few items that perhaps you no longer need, and make some money from them, all whilst celebrating the history and heritage of the UK.
