FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a car on fire on a major road.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 10.47pm last night (October 21) to the A64, westbound near Musley Bank after fire control received a call to a report of a car on fire.
A spokesman for the service said that upon arrival of Malton crews it was found to be an overheated turbo which had caused fire damage to the headlight area only.
He said: "Crews extinguished the fire and removed the turbo from an Audi A4."
