THESE areas in York and Ryedale are experiencing the highest Covid rates, according to the latest available data.
Most recent figures from Public Health England have revealed the areas where rates are still significantly above the average.
The overall average rate of infection for York is at 305.2 per 100,000 people.
Meanwhile Ryedale's case rate per 100,000 people currently stands at 458.4 per 100,000 people.
How the infection rate is worked out
The infection rate is worked out by looking at the number of cases and the population in each neighbour area, which contain an average of 7,000 people.
Public Health England then look at this to identify the potential hotspots, seeing where exactly high percentages of the population have tested positive.
It comes as local authorities and health bosses continue to urge members of the public to come forward to have their Covid jab, and booster where eligible.
