A64 closed eastbound following crash
The police have now issued an update after the A64 eastbound was closed last night (Wednesday).
A spokesperson said: "The road was closed for several hours to allow emergency services to deal with the collision involving two vehicles, two people were given medical attention. We thank the public for their patience whilst we dealt with this incident."
The A64 was closed eastbound following the accident.
Police said the incident took place near the junction for Slingsby and Castle Howard and the road was closed while emergency services deal attend the scene.
