Children are being offered the chance to cook with a Great British Bake Off winner.
David Atherton will be at The Cooks Place, in Malton on Saturday, October 23.
The winner of the 2019 Great British Bake-off is visiting the town to cook recipes from his brand-new children’s boo - .My First Cook Book: Make, Bake & Learn To Cook.
The Gazette and Herald have teamed up with The Cooks Place to give away a free place on this one-off cookery course, the winner will also receive a signed copy of David’s book My First Green Cookbook.
Plus, they will be able to take home the tasty treats they make for the whole family to share.
The prize is worth £20.

This event is suitable for children aged five years and above, as they will be working alongside David and head tutor and owner of The Cooks Place Gilly Robinson.
Adults are welcome to stay in the building, but only one adult can stay with their child due to limited space available.
This event is in association with Kemps Books in the Market Place in Malton, where David will be signing copies of his books after 11.30am.
