A MAN has suffered head injuries during a serious assault in York city centre - and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident happened outside the Popworld club in George Hudson Street in the city just before 3am on Saturday (October 9).
A man sustained head injuries in the assault and was taken to hospital for treatment before later being discharged.
North Yorkshire Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, the force said they are appealing for information about anything that may have happened leading up to the assault, and possible mobile phone footage of the altercation.
