A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital after falling off a wall.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 2.33am this morning (October 11) to Hovingham Drive in Scarborough after reports of a woman locked outside of her property.

A spokesman for the service said: "Upon our arrival the woman had fallen six feet off a wall and injured her back.

"Crews administered first aid until the arrival of paramedics. She was then transported to hospital via road ambulance."
