A 26-year-old woman was trapped after rolling her car - while trying to avoid a badger.
The incident happened at Ugthorpe, up on the North York Moors near Whitby, just after midnight last night.
Fire crews were able to help the woman out of the car and gave her first aid and oxygen until an ambulance arrived.
She was then taken to hospital.
