Fire crews on scene of incident at rear of Costcutter in Norton
FIRE crews are currently in attendance at an incident to the rear of shops in Commercial Street, Norton.
Two appliances are at the scene and another is on route to the rear of Costcutter and the Malinka Market, former Corks and Cans building.
Several firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are present.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the fire was understood to be out but crews would remain at the scene for dampening down and to ensure the premises were safe.
A fire investigation officer was also attending the incident.
