Disgust has been expressed at offensive graffiti on a public footpath.
A number of symbols include the Nazi swastika have been spray-painted on riverside walk between Norton and Malton.
District and County Councillor Keane Duncan said: "Graffiti of any kind is unacceptable. It looks unsightly and costs the taxpayer significant money to clean up. Graffiti of this nature, however, is particularly disgusting. I know that everyone locally will condemn the actions of those responsible.”
