YET another plan came together for a group of Ryedale fundraisers.
The “A-Team”, the friends who over the last few years have raised more than £100,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA), organised a car boot sale at Scagglethorpe on June 13.
The total raised during the day for the air ambulance was £750.
Lead “A-Team” member Anne Baron said: “The public enjoyed the freedom of meeting and chatting to friends they had not seen for a long time. It was a successful day for all.
“Thank you to all that helped by parking cars, manning the gate, donating tombola prizes, and sending donations.
“Although we have been in lockdown, the helicopters have continued to give their life-saving service regardless of lack of fundraising events. They are very thankful for your support once again.”
